Lily Tomasula Martin, MFTC (she/her)

Hello, I’m Lily!

I’ve always been a driven person, and my strong desire to excel is one of my greatest strengths. However, like any strength, it comes with its challenges. After completing my master’s degree and my time as a D1 athlete in college, I realized that perfectionism had become my Achilles’ heel. That realization prompted me to invest time and effort into cultivating a healthier, more sustainable relationship with success. Today, I use those lessons to help my clients navigate their own paths toward fulfillment and balance.

I feel most grounded when I find a mix of feeling rooted in nature and grounded in my home environment. I am often running, skiing or spending time outside with my husband and our dog Nokhu (who frequently makes an appearance during sessions). On the creative side, I love cooking new foods, learning from podcasts, and reading as many thrillers as I can get my hands on.

Philosophy

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with adults navigating a range of challenges, including marriage counseling, anxiety, depression, coping skills, divorce, self-esteem, and perfectionism. I chose this career because I deeply believe in the power of feeling seen, heard, and understood. While each of our journeys is uniquely our own, we don’t have to walk them alone.

I believe therapy should be as unique as you are. My goal is to create a compassionate and nurturing space where you feel safe to explore and grow. Just as I prioritize transparency with my clients, I encourage open feedback about what’s working and what isn’t. This is your space, and while I’m here to guide you, you are always in the driver’s seat.

I continue to take advantage of extra trainings, clinical consultations and truly believe my education is never done. This dedication ensures that I stay current and provide the highest level of care for my clients.
