FAQs
Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance at this time. I am an out-of-network provider and can provide you a Superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I’ve also partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits. Check out the benefit checker to see your reimbursement rate here.
Do you offer in person or virtual therapy?
I provide virtual therapy. This means you get to be in therapy from the comfort of your own home with your favorite blanket and a cup of tea. No more trying to navigate traffic or find the office when you’re already in a rush.
How much does therapy cost?
$140 for individual sessions and $160 for couples sessions.
Do you offer sliding scale spots?
I’m glad you asked! I provide scholarship spots for clients that are needing financial assistance. Scholarship clients pay between $65-$100 a session. If this applies to you please reach out!
Where do we meet for outdoor therapy sessions?
We will decide on a location together between Glenwood Springs and Basalt. Places like Crown Mountain Park, along the Rio Path, or by the river are often great starting points.
Can I use outdoor therapy as a tool even if I don’t want to walk?
Absolutely! We can decide what feels right for you whether it is sitting in a park or by the river.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples. Longer sessions are available upon request.
What do you specialize in?
I specialize in women’s care specifically around struggles with perfectionism, helping folks navigate the complexities of their twenties, and breaking cycles of disagreements within relationships.
How long will I be in therapy?
Most clients are in therapy anywhere from 3 months to a year. It depends on how invested you are about therapy and what you are hoping to accomplish during therapy. It is also entirely up to you! It is okay to take breaks from therapy, to stay in therapy longer than you need to or end therapy before you are done.
What is a Couples Therapy Intensive?
A Couple Therapy Intensive is an immersive therapy experience that creates opportunity for deeper growth and healing in a shortened time frame. This would be helpful for couples looking to resolve one issue or wanting to deepen their relationship without the commitment of weekly therapy.
